THIS TORII AT ITSUKUSHIMA ISLAND WELCOMES VISITOR VISITING THE ISLAND. THIS ISLAND IS ONE OF THE BEST THREE POPULAR SCENIC  SPOT OF JAPAN. ITSUKUSHIMA  IS KNOWN AS MIYAJIMA ISLAND. AND ITS LOCATED ON NORTHWEST OF HIROSHIMA BAY.AND THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN INSIDE THE FERRYBOAT ON THE WAY TO THE ISLAND.
    
 BECAUSE OF THE LOW TIDE , I WAS ABLE TO GET CLOSE  ENCOUNTER WITH THE TORII AND YOU CAN IMAGINE DURING THE HIGH TIDE AS YOU CAN SEE WATER LINE MARK.AND  PEOPLE ARE ENJOYING WALKING IN THE WET OR PARTLY WATERY SAND 

   AT THE BATTLE OF MIYAJIMA MORI MOTONARI DEPEATED SUE  HARUKATA AND TOYOKINE HIDEYOSHI BUILD THIS LARGE BUILDING. THE SENJOKAKU ON THE ABOVE THE ITSUKUSHIMA SHRINE. 
   THIS SHRINE WAS ESTABLISHED DURING THE TIME OF EMPRESS SUIKO AND DESIGN BY TAIRANO KIYOMORI IN 1555. AND THIS SRINE IS UNDER THE UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. 
   THIS ISLAND IS ALSO VERY POPULAR FOR JAPANESE TO GO AROUND AND SPEND THEIR DAY ENJOYING THE SCENERY AND DINING. 
 THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN REACH THE ISLAND IS BY TAKING THE TEN MINUTES RIDE OF THE FERRY BOAT.
